Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and counsel to management on a wide variety of basic to complex legal, regulatory, and business matters regarding the operations of the Company

Support related to insurance, regulatory concerns, compliance, corporate governance, reinsurance, employment matters, agent/agency matters, intellectual property, and support for corporate and administrative functions

Support for corporate finance/accounting, business technology, human resources, service contracts, real estate, contract administration and performance

Required

Juris Doctor degree and Texas licensed attorney who is a member in good standing.

Minimum of 4 years of related experience as in-house counsel or in a large firm with a professional background in insurance.

Strong knowledge in Texas insurance services regulations, with a working knowledge of corporate, data and consumer protection laws, Texas corporate law, M&A, and corporate governance/compliance matters.
