Responsibilities
Monitoring retail technology industry trends and emerging themes to identify new ecosystem partnerships and investment opportunities aligned to dunnhumby’s long-term strategy;
Sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in strategically aligned industries such as artificial intelligence, retail data & analytics, and adtech;
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and assess synergies between dunnhumby and its partners;
Managing the due diligence process around potential investments and making investment recommendations to senior leadership;
Leading financial modeling for investments and partnerships including valuation, market sizing, and business plan modelling.

Required
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, business, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate development, venture investing, strategy, investment management, or a related field
Entrepreneurial passion for investing, technology, and corporate strategy
Financial modeling skills including business plan formulation, returns analyses, and valuation (discounted cash flow, trading and transaction comparables, regression modeling)
Proven track record of identifying and executing successful investments and/or partnerships in a principal or advisory capacity, ideally focused on software, data & analytics, or other technology sectors
