Responsibilities

Serve as a leader of ACA’s corporate governance program

Become a subject matter expert with respect to ACA corporate policies, procedures, and controls

Develop, implement, and oversee such policies and procedures

Oversee the management of all of ACA’s corporate books, records, and filings

Maintain ACA’s intellectual property roster and manage new trademark applications

Serve as liaison between insurance brokers and ACA management team

Manage ACA’s legal service process strategies and monitor ongoing litigation

Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding corporate governance

Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives

Required

Bachelor’s Degree required

Four to six years of corporate governance experience

Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs

Experience exercising discretion and making independent judgments on matters of significance

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment

Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients

Highly motivated and goal oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks

Dedicated to upholding ACA’s high-quality standards and customer service focus

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Strong oral and written communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet
