Responsibilities

Drive or participate in defining microarchitecture and performing design feasibility for CPU implementation

Optimize RTL-to-GDS design convergence through synthesis and place-and-route tools

Deliver block-level design and ensure backend flow closure for CPU implementation

Collaborate with internal teams on synthesis/PNR tool features and optimizations for CPU design

Work with cross-functional teams on CPU floorplan, timing, power, reliability, and testability aspects

Define and co-optimize memory macros and library standard cells for design improvements

Required

Minimum BS

Solid electrical engineering fundamentals in logic design and digital circuits

Basic knowledge of CPU pipeline, and physical design concepts related to timing and power

Basic knowledge of scripting/programming acquired during coursework, internship or industry work

Ability to work well in a team, self-motivated and excellent communication skills
