Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of copy and editorial professionals ; through regular 1:1s to provide coaching, support career plans, and provide learning opportunities
Lead the creative teams in development of concepts and execution of all projects; manage and refine creative processes to improve efficiency and quality
Identify and drive hiring efforts to ensure your team has the correct capacity to deliver on client work
Assign creative teams best suited for each project based on ability and workload; align with other department to ensure deadlines and budgets are met
Provide clear and constructive feedback to associate creative directors and copywriters, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the highest quality of work
Play a pivotal role in new business pitches and presentations, showcasing our creative capabilities and strategic thinking.
Set the creative direction for each project, from concept to execution, ensuring that the messaging resonates with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the strategy, art and client services teams to develop integrated campaigns that tell a consistent and impactful story across various channels.
Collaborate with clients to understand their brand identity, goals, and messaging preferences, translating their vision into persuasive and compliant copy.
Develop good relationships with your clients in order to grow our business with existing clients
Demonstrate to clients that you understand their products and marketing challenges and are responsive to the strategic and creative needs

Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field plus 15+ years of experience in copywriting, with at least 10 years in a creative leadership role.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop creative professionals; experience leading leaders is required
You have scaled teams from 5 – 50 and understand the best practices for doing this well - maintaining quality client work and positive people experience
A strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, you understand both the art and copy side of creative and have an innovative approach to solving challenges.
Proven expertise in developing compelling copy for the pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and audience nuances.
Exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of work, from long-form content to short, impactful messaging across different platforms.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent presentation skills

Pharma product launch experience is also strongly desired
