Responsibilities
Process new loan applications, evaluate credit, and underwrite following company policies and procedures.
Communicate with dealers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide information.
Verify loan terms with new customers, answer customer service calls, and process customer payments over the phone.
Work with management to develop underwriting skills and achieve higher levels of decision authority.
Maintain existing business and develop new business by building strong dealer relationships.
Other duties as assigned by management. Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly. Must be able to take direction and work well with others. Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines. Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately. Must be able to react to change productively.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communication, marketing or related field OR 2 years’ experience in underwriting or lending.
2 years' Customer service experience.
Must have professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
