Responsibilities

Prepares and records daily cash deposits and invoice deductions.

Analyzes accounts, reconciles discrepancies, and codes data for financial systems.

Participates in meetings to advise on risk mitigation and collection issues.

Researches and processes customer claims, contacting customers as needed.

Prepares accounts receivable reports and maintains relationships with customers.

Investigates validity of claims against accounts and follows up on payments.

Performs collection calls, maintains credit files, and collects on aged accounts.

Assists in end-of-month closing and performs ad hoc reporting.

Required

1-3 years of progressively responsible AR administration experience, preferably in an aerospace environment.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, and very strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, pull data, formulas, etc.)

Basic to working knowledge of contracting concepts and use of contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and other forms of agreements.
