Responsibilities
Analyze medical history, data and interviews employing critical thinking skills
Determine whether to accept, modify or decline in accordance with state and company compliance standards
As needed handle inquiries via phone from agents/and or applicants regarding underwriting decisions
Demonstrated experience operating software to summarize application medical and health data
Experience working in a dynamic and ever-changing business environment
Ability to prioritize workload independently in a fast-paced environment
Assist with special projects and other duties as needed

Required
High School Diploma required.
2+ years insurance or medical experience required, preferably medical insurance or PBM background
1+ yr. of customer service experience preferably on phones
Intermediate level of medical terminology required
Excellent analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills
Preferred
College degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
