Responsibilities

Manage customer accounts to ensure satisfaction with the company's products or services.
Identify customer needs and proactively offer solutions or promotions to retain their business.
Use multiple systems and software to track and manage customer data and interactions.
Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints; handle failed payments and resolve outstanding balances via email, phone, text, and virtual calls.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer communications, including notes on payment arrangements.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize delinquencies and improve collections performance.
Collaborate with sales, customer support, and marketing teams to develop retention strategies and maintain a consistent customer experience.
Provide feedback on common issues and patterns to help improve business quality and performance.

Required

2+ years of experience in customer service; experience in a sales or customer retention role preferred.
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both written and verbal communication across email, phone, text, and virtual calls.
Proficiency with CRM software and other relevant systems and tools.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenging customer situations effectively.
Investigative skills to resolve customer issues and offer valuable solutions.
A positive attitude and a passion for helping others succeed in their personal and professional journeys.
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with closely-related departments.

Preferred

Experience in a sales or customer retention role.
Familiarity with online education platforms or a background in self-development.
