Responsibilities
Receive and process customer orders via telephone or fax in a timely and professional manner
Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries, ensuring a positive experience
Solve routine and complex customer service issues while documenting activities in the system
Maintain a high volume of calls, averaging 11 calls per hour after the initial training period
Collaborate with team members and support cross-training efforts within the department

Required
Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and listening)
Computer knowledge and proficiency in using phone systems
Ability to type 35-40 words per minute
Flexibility and adaptability to change, with good organizational skills
Preferred
Experience with medical terminology is preferred but not required
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Previous experience in a call center environment
Proven retention of training knowledge for cross-training purposes
