Responsibilities

Provides Tier I and II technical software, hardware and network problem resolution for clients by performing problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions
May provide expertise to solve first and second tier technical support issues for end-users of the organization's products and services
Resolves problems or contacts more senior technical support as necessary
Uses automated information systems to analyze routine situations
Supports users by fulfilling individual requests for information and/or training in the utilization of the various databases available
Receives and processes end user calls, emails and portal request; enter required data in to ticketing system
Interacts with other team members, such as network services, software engineering, and/or applications development to restore services and/or identify and correct the core problem
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice

Required

Must have a Secret security clearance
High school diploma
3 years relevant IT experience
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments
Experience with ticketing systems
Experience maintaining configuration management data and documentation
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience troubleshooting and resolving network hardware and software problems

Preferred

BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university
