Responsibilities
Analyze on-prem and cloud security, and monitor security operations.
Implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
Stay current with the latest cybersecurity intelligence and anticipate potential breaches.
Ensure networks have adequate security to prevent unauthorized access.
Research new threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits to protect systems from access or destruction.
Prepare concise written reports and effectively communicate security findings.
Orchestrate project calls, including kick-off calls, notification of critical findings, and review calls to discuss test findings and remediation recommendations.
Work with the security team to review and address violations of security procedures.
Support database systems (Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres) and ensure system integrity.

Required
8+ years of experience in identifying and solving security problems/issues.
8+ years of experience in providing support for Windows and Linux operating systems.
8+ years of experience in network facilities, data processing, network security, and performance monitoring tools.
8+ years of experience in implementing security measures to protect systems and networks.
Extensive experience with NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, MARS-E controls, POA&Ms, and developing Corrective Action Plans.
Strong ability to prepare written reports and communicate findings.
Experience with security tools and staying updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and breaches.
Preferred
5+ years of experience working with Archer GRC, Dynatrace, Splunk, Imperva Web Application Firewall, Qualys, and MS Office tools.
5+ years of experience training staff on network and information security procedures.
2+ years of experience with ITIL ticketing systems (Remedy and ServiceNow).
