Responsibilities

Offer guidance and strategic direction to protect organizational information systems by conducting structured security reviews and recommending enhancements.

Implement and manage advanced security tools and platforms, including Secure Service Edge (SSE) solutions (Data Loss Prevention, Cloud Access Security Broker, Secure Web Gateway, Zero Trust Network Access), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Access Management (IAM), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Security Awareness Training portals.

Design, document, test, and maintain sophisticated security solutions for networking, cryptography, cloud environments, authentication systems, directory services, email, applications, and endpoint security.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify gaps and vulnerabilities, then devise and execute strategies to mitigate risks using CIS Controls and cybersecurity platforms.

Tackle complex cybersecurity challenges, requiring evaluation of intricate and intangible factors.

Perform risk assessments, identify security vulnerabilities, and recommend effective remediation strategies.

Build and maintain productive relationships across organizational teams and with external vendors to ensure robust cybersecurity measures.

Analyze cyber vulnerabilities, assess system compliance against security standards, and develop risk mitigation plans.

Support the creation and enforcement of security policies, standards, and plans to safeguard corporate data against unauthorized use, access, or modification.

Partner with teams to implement risk management and information security initiatives across global business units.

Conduct computer investigations as authorized by management and participate in change control reviews as a cybersecurity subject matter expert.

Ensure a secure cybersecurity environment, addressing recovery and redundancy concerns.

Stay updated with current technologies to recommend the most suitable solutions for organizational needs.

Create and maintain technical and operational documentation for cybersecurity systems and solutions.

Act as a technical consultant and mentor, offering guidance to junior team members.

Provide cross-functional training to enhance team expertise and ensure service level objectives are consistently met.

Collaborate with peers, management, and vendors to design and implement configurations, operational models, and business continuity plans.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring reliable and secure operations.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

Continuously pursue opportunities for learning and improving tools, processes, and systems to stay ahead in the cybersecurity domain.
