Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a strong background in network security, application security, and incident response.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, SIEM systems, and endpoint security solutions.
Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and security tool integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Security Certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
Preferred
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with incident detection and forensics.
