Responsibilities

Conduct regular security assessments, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and risk analysis, to identify and mitigate risks.

Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.

Collaborate with IT, engineering, and leadership to integrate security into all aspects of the organization’s operations and development.

Assist in creating and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards that comply with frameworks like NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.

Provide security training and education to staff on best practices and incident response procedures to promote a culture of security awareness.

Implement and manage security controls in cloud environments.

Required

Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and information security management.

Experience with security assessments, incident response, and implementing security solutions across an organization.

Experience in implementing and managing security in cloud environments.

Proven track record of enhancing security postures and effectively managing security projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
