Responsibilities
Review and vet security vulnerability reports submitted by independent security researchers.
Verify the validity and scope of reported vulnerabilities.
Assess each vulnerability for severity and assign an associated risk score.
Serve as a liaison between public researchers and DoD system owners.
Monitor and track progress on report submissions and validate mitigation or remediation actions.

Required
8+ years of experience investigating security events, threats, or vulnerabilities
Experience with web penetration testing tools such as BurpSuite, Nmap, or Kali Linux
Experience operating in a professional IT or cybersecurity environment
Knowledge of information security principles, technologies, and practices
Knowledge of web penetration methodologies and applications
Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
Experience with STIG requirements
Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, BASH, or Java
CEH, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GCIH, GICSP, PenTest+, or related certification
