Responsibilities
Operate all aspects of Information Systems (IS) data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation
Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems
Perform defensive cyber operation duties including, but not limited to, ensuring workstation and server compliancy with HBSS requirements
Identify cybersecurity incidents using HBSS, Tenable Security Center, RedSeal, McAfee Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM), and other automated tools; operating Imperva Web Application and Database firewalls
Perform forensics and remedial action on cybersecurity incidents
Report defensive cyber operations statistics

Required
Navy Qualified Validator certification
2-5 years practical experience in cybersecurity role
High School Diploma
DoD IAM/IAT Level III (CASP, +CE, CCNP, CISA, CISSP)
Navy IT sites, systems, and infrastructure
Secret Security Clearance
Travel up to 20%
Preferred
Validator activities for at least one RMF Security Authorization Package within the last year
Knowledge of the steps associated with developing a Security Assessment Plan (SAP), and the associated validation procedures
Experience in all RMF Steps
