Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to public sector clients, understanding their unique cybersecurity risks and requirements.
Present and communicate cybersecurity strategies and solutions to executives, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments, including risk assessments and compliance audits.
Provide actionable recommendations to enhance clients' cybersecurity posture, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as NIST, CIS, and SCADA cybersecurity frameworks.
Offer strategic guidance on cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
Develop and maintain accurate documentation of cybersecurity processes, methodologies, and client engagements.
Ensure all deliverables meet Tyler Technologies' quality standards and comply with current regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with other departments within Tyler Technologies to ensure a cohesive approach to cybersecurity solutions and service delivery.
Contribute to the development and refinement of cybersecurity products and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for expanding services and deepening client partnerships.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Required
A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with 1-2 years in a consulting role.
Proven track record of managing complex cybersecurity engagements and delivering high-quality results.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) required.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls, SCADA security).
Proficiency in cloud security (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and identity & access management (IAM).
Experience with security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and SIEM.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred
Direct experience in the public sector or with public sector clients is highly preferred.
Additional certifications such as CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are preferred.
GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or CSSA (Certified SCADA Security Architect) certifications are a plus.
Advanced degrees or additional certifications are advantageous.
Familiarity with AI and its application in cybersecurity.
Occasional travel to client sites as needed, including regional day travel and infrequent overnight stays.
