Responsibilities

Manages complex, broad data analysis assignments using approaches common to the field of human capital data science including artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) techniques, data visualizations, and other analyses.

Derives meaning from large and complex data sources in multiple formats including structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data using statistical software and/or programing languages.

Utilizes software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and tools to build efficient and repeatable artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) analytical tools and data pipelines.

Presents results to internal and external groups including technical and non-technical audiences and senior management.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Completion of Confidential Financial Disclosure may be required.

Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) required.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector.

To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is defined as experience designing data visualizations through graphics and charts; developing machine learning/artificial intelligence (AI/ML) models; and conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.

Applicants eligible for ICTAP (Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program) must achieve a score of 85 'well qualified' for this position.

There is no substitution of education for the experience for this position.
