Responsibilities
Collaborates with internal and external personnel (e.g. other administrators, auditors, public agencies, community members, etc.) to implement and/or maintain services and programs.
Collects, compiles, and analyzes data for agency reporting; develops conclusions to provide accurate support for both formal and ad hoc presentations, papers, and discussions.
Prepares additional reporting as requested by funders and program managers
Coordinates research, planning and evaluation projects with other departments, schools, and external agencies to share information.
Assist in analyzing and understanding the health challenges faced by low-income individuals, including their navigation of healthcare systems and other health-related challenges as indicated by agency priorities.
Prepares a wide variety of often complex materials (e.g. speeches and other communications, plans, budgets, reports, analysis, recommendations, procedures, etc.) to document activities and issues, meet compliance requirements, providing audit references, making presentations, and/or providing supporting materials for required actions.
Assist in the organization of special events, including both virtual, in-person and hybrid activities
Assessment and implementation of the agency's biennial Community Needs Assessments, as well as collaboration with other stakeholders to ensure alignment with community priorities and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with community members, partners, and stakeholders.
Consistently provide excellent customer service in a manner reflective of the spirit of the Agencys Mission Vision, and Promise.
Evening and weekend work required for events and meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
BA/BS in Urban Studies, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Education, Health Sciences, Public Health, Sociology, or a related field.
Equivalent qualifications may include an AA degree or completion of at least two years of college, combined with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in the nonprofit sector or a related area.
Possess a valid California Drivers License with a driving record that meets minimum standards established by Community Action Partnership of Orange County insurance carrier.
Regular local driving and occasionally to other areas as needed.
Fluent verbal and written English language skills and mathematical skills sufficient to create, compose or compile information and data for reports or presentations.
Proficiency in databases and software systems, including experience with data management tools, data analysis platforms, and relevant software applications.
Reporting, writing, analysis and research skills.
Organize and conduct research, analyze data, draw sound conclusions and develop outcome measures to make appropriate recommendations based on data gathered for programs.
Cultural sensitivity and competence in working with diverse populations, with the ability to adapt communication and interaction styles as needed.
Develop and maintain rapport with staff, Board, agencies, partners, and clients from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Flexible: Work locations will vary between remote work, an office environment and working in the community which can include working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
Evening and weekend work required for events and meetings.
Bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, standing, kneeling, sitting, twisting, turning, walking, and bending at the waist may be physical requirements of the job.
A medical examination is required of each new employee whose physical condition must meet the minimum requirements prescribed for the position.
In addition, prospective employees must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, Live Scan, and background check.
Preferred
Familiarity with local government and nonprofit organizations in Orange County.
Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
Knowledge in ArcGIS, SQL, SPSS, SAS, and Stata is a plus.
Familiarity with community, public and non-profit resources.
Language skilled: Demonstrate a clear, concise, and effective command of the English and Spanish or Vietnamese languages in both oral and written forms.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite products, as well as Windows XP a plus.
