Responsibilities

Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources

Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets

Locate influences and drivers in data

Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge

Create specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and required/available data

Consult with users to understand reporting needs

Lead cross-functional teams to address business issues using data

Directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using reporting tools

Lead accomplishment of key analytics goals

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and develop sustainable data solutions

Translate complex systems and analytics functionality into business language

Validate key performance indicators and build queries to measure business performance

Develop data governance standards and documentation

Write SQL queries and create data visualizations for analysis and reporting

Organize, transform, and structure information

Predict trends and perform statistical analysis using data

Improve processes through automation and efficient workflows

Work independently and take initiative to explore and solve problems

Required

Bachelor's degree required

10+ years of directly relevant experience in business/process leadership or as an industry expert

Expertise in data analysis, data mining, statistical analysis, and identifying trends/patterns in data

Experience designing and building data analytics solutions

Excellent communication, collaboration, and consulting skills
