Responsibilities
Analyze and manipulate claims data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards using Tableau to support decision-making processes.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and summarize large datasets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
Ensure data quality and integrity across multiple sources and systems.
Document processes, methodologies, and results to ensure transparency and replicability.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in claims data analysis and processing.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Hands-on experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
Experience in healthcare or NYS government.
Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Familiarity with statistical tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
