Responsibilities

Participate in the end-to-end project life cycle and contribute to both agile and waterfall-based project execution.

Understand and gather data requirements, including new data demands, regulatory consumption, attribute mapping, and defining aggregation rules.

Manage large volumes of data and perform Data Profiling tasks such as discovery, analysis, creation and analysis of Data Dictionaries, attribute mapping, and data quality (DQ) lifecycles and lineage.

Review and evaluate business processes, procedures, EUCs, legacy applications for gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for enhancement.

Work with various stakeholders to consolidate disparate data stores into a cohesive single store.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and the solution being built.

Required

Proven experience in applied project work such as Digital Transformation, BI solutions, Report Automation, and Data Quality Assurance.

Strong expertise in handling large volumes of data, performing data analysis, and ensuring data fitness for purpose.

Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Datameer, Informatica, SSIS).

Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, cleaning, discovery, and analysis.

Knowledge of critical data element mapping, lineage documentation, and data catalogs.

Ability to investigate and perform root cause analysis for data issues.

Strong understanding of Data Quality standards, validation, and monitoring DQ rules for data consistency and accuracy.

Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, transformations, pivots).

Preferred

Knowledge of Consumer Banking policies, regulations, and banking products, including Cards, Branded Cards, Mortgage, Loans, etc.

Experience working with multiple workstreams, including Digital, Data, Technology, DevOps, Testing, and Business Product Owners.

4+ years of experience in the Banking domain, with exposure to Retail or Wealth Management.

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

Expertise in Microsoft Excel (VBA Macros, Pivot tables, Advanced Calculations/Formulas), PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Well-versed in JIRA for project tracking and issue management.
