Responsibilities
Data reporting: Develop and maintain charts, graphs, tables, or other effective presentations of company data to aid business leaders and colleagues in optimal business operations
Data integrity and security: Ensuring the integrity and security of the data
Data quality issues: Monitoring and resolving data quality issues
Database development and modification: Contributing to the development and modification of databases and ensuring they are designed to meet specifications and requirements
Database optimization: Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement strategies to improve data storage, retrieval, and query performance
Documentation and standards: Developing and maintaining documentation and standards
Identifies opportunities to simplify, improve processes, or correct negative business situations and recommends actions based on analyzed data
Maintains open and accurate communication with customers, supervisors, and peers
Clocks in and out for activities throughout the day in Pierson Wireless' project management cloud solution
Follows safety policies for safe work
Provides support to other team members and staff as needed
Operates company provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner and follow all local laws, regulations, and ordinances
Submits receipts and expense records
Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher from a college or university
Two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Knowledge of data analysis tools, relational databases, and data modeling techniques
Experience with software and systems such as SQL and Microsoft SQL server
Proven abilities to analyze and interpret data
Ability to cross-reference data across multiple sources and formats
Experience in creating automation scripts in tools such as VBA, Python, or UNIX shell programs
Advanced knowledge of office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite tools
Valid driver's license
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
Weekend and night work may be necessary from time to time
