Responsibilities
Understand business requirements in BI context and translate business processes and requirements into technical requirements.
Execute data analytics initiatives that lead to the selection of product development processes, development of insightful analyses, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Develop, maintain, and support the business intelligence solutions.
Collect, aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources to provide reporting and interactive visualization for functional management and decision-making users.
Lead the development of a custom analytics application, including the UI, Application Programming Interface (APIs), server-side code, and web-based visualizations.
Lead strategy and execution across data acquisition, data quality, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), and data preparation.
Enhance, develop, and test software in Python, SQL, and other suitable technologies.
Expand capability using various open-source data processing technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Cassandra and Neo4J into our infrastructure.
Extract application environment data using various methods including Kubernetes sidecar, eBPF, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
Contribute to continuous improvement of software development best practices in the areas of coding tools, languages and APIs, agile software design and development processes.
Design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models.
Maintain oversight of data including data quality inspection, cleansing and automation to ensure the continuous reflection of the most current and accurate information in our analytics.
Proactively address and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the analytics provided, upholding the integrity and reliability of the data and insights delivered.
Responsible for accurate and thorough documentation of product/components – helping document for now.
Product maintenance and customer issue support.

Required
A bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
4-6 Years professional experience, preferably in a data analyst/data scientist role or similar.
Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks and workflows.
Working knowledge of API and REST Endpoints.
Proficiency in Database & data lake methodology. (Data Lake – large sets of data)
Preferred
Data visualization experience with tools such as Superset, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.
Deep understanding of Python, R, SQL as well as statistical analysis and time series databases.
Knowledge of and experience with Javascript frameworks and charting components.
Hadoop ecosystems such as HDFS, Hive and Pig and/or Apache Spark / Flink.
AWS operating environments.
Strong knowledge of testing tools and techniques.
Experience in supply chain management including SBOM, HBOM and CryptoBOM.
