Responsibilities

Partner closely with Finance and Accounting to understand their most complex problems, utilizing data to devise effective insights and architectural solutions

Lead optimizations in go-to-market processes, ensuring data models integrate new product launches efficiently

Foster a self-service data culture by creating user-friendly tools and dashboards, and empowering business users through training

Regularly update stakeholders, teammates, and management on project progress, risks, and completions.

Required

7-10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering

Public company experience

Comfortable using: GitHub, Jira, Excel, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow

BS or equivalent experience in: Computer Science, Engineering, Business Systems, Finance, Accounting

Data Modeling Expert: You have extensive experience working with large datasets in high-volume, fast-paced consumer businesses, and are adept at building data models using Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow

Technically Savvy: An expert in SQL and Python, you excel in using tools such as Mode and PowerBI to uncover deep analytical insights

Strong Business Acumen: Deeply familiar with accounting concepts, SOX, and ITGCs, you thoroughly understand how data flows through financial systems

Critical Thinker: You thrive at transforming complexity into clarity, harnessing data to drive strategic decisions

Exceptional Communicator: Skilled at conveying complex ideas in a relatable way, you facilitate understanding across diverse audiences
