Responsibilities

Develop mastery of our internal annotation tools and have the ability to train others.

Interact with the computer vision engineers, data and product teams to help improve on the design of an efficient labeling interface.

Demonstrate basic computer vision and machine learning knowledge showing an understanding of how labels are used by our learning algorithms.

Make operationally sound judgment calls on difficult edge cases.

Daily real-time monitoring of work and processing live customer tickets.

Perform post-process audits and error analysis; developing insights and driving improvements.

Quickly identify, document and escalate issues as they arise.

Recommend and devise procedures; participate in change management.

Present insights and findings to a variety of audiences.

Required

At least 5+ years of professional experience or equivalent preferred (across disciplines including data annotation, quality assurance, technical customer support, retail technology and/or other related technology or operational fields)

Strong technical aptitude

Meticulous and detail oriented

Strong sense of urgency, ownership and drive

Proactive and methodical problem-solving skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and be able to balance and prioritize shifting business needs

Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills

Passionate and curious about technology

Must be reliable, have good initiative, committed and quality-focused

Available and flexible to work various scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays

College graduate or High School diploma

Preferred

Data annotation experience helpful but not required

Experience working with third-party vendors is a plus

Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, Jira is a plus
