Responsibilities
Assess and audit flow of consumer data from digital sites and applications to various back end and third-party systems.
Identify gaps in the data flow in order to stay in compliance with regulations such as CCPA and CPRA.
Be a thought partner to cross-functional leaders, helping to define and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
Build a remediation strategy for data management gaps, ensuring traceability to meet consumer DSARs.
Design a scalable data architecture solution that integrates various systems, including CRM, internal data lakes, and external MarTech platforms while meeting the organization’s compliance requirements.
Design and establish data management frameworks, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and retrieval processes that support operational and analytical needs.
Build robust ETL pipelines to integrate data from various sources, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
Ensure high data quality, integrity, and availability through regular validation and monitoring processes.
Help establish data governance policies and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices regarding data security and privacy.
Maintain documentation for all data architecture and analytics processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data architecture, data engineering, and data management.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree required with Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline preferred.
Minimum 5 - 7 years working as Data Architect and/or Data Engineer role.
Requires consumer privacy knowledge and data protection regulations (CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, GPC, etc.).
Proven experience managing data flows across multiple systems, with a focus on integrating and optimizing data exchange with external third-party MarTech platforms (e.g., CDPs, analytics tools, and marketing automation systems).
Proficiency with a range of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Snowflake) and experience in data warehousing concepts.
Expertise in ETL tools and frameworks for data integration and processing.
Demonstrated experience with AWS solutions and familiarity with cloud architecture patterns.
Excellent written/verbal communication and client relationship management skills.
Preferred
Experience managing data on consumer preferences and cookie consent is desired.
Data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, normalization, star and snowflake schemas) is a plus.
Exposure to Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
Experience working under an Agile/Scrum framework.
Can multi-task and quickly adapt to changing and conflicting priorities, while working independently.
Critical thinker who can problem solve and is detail-oriented and organized.
