Responsibilities

Utilize enterprise standards for data domains and solutions to ensure simplified integration and operational/analytical efficiency.

Implement innovative technologies to renovate and transform core data assets across SQL-based, NoSQL-based, and cloud platforms.

Define migration plans to bridge current and future states of data architecture.

Assist leadership with cost/benefit analyses to shape sound architectural decisions.

Analyze technology environments, detect critical deficiencies, and recommend improvements.

Promote data asset reuse and manage data catalog references.

Draft architectural diagrams, interface specifications, and design documents.

Required

4+ years of Python experience

Strong SQL skills, including complex querying and conditional updates

Proficiency in DevOps tools: Linux, GitHub, Bash

Experience with CI/CD lifecycles

Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and regression tests

Knowledge of static code analysis tools, Linters, and PEP 8 standards

Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform

Familiarity with Agile SCRUM methodologies

Preferred

Data management tools: Databricks, PySpark, Spark Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Delta Sharing

Expertise in SQL

Experience with streaming technologies: Apache Kafka, Azure EventHubs, Avro

Proficiency with additional DevOps tools: GitHub Actions, Terraform, Artifactory
