Responsibilities

Data Architecture Design: Develop and implement scalable data models, schemas, and architectures that support business intelligence and analytics.

Data Integration: Design and oversee the integration of diverse data sources into a cohesive data environment, ensuring quality and accessibility.

Data Governance: Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, privacy, security, data quality and master data management (MDM),

Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of databases and data systems, making improvements as necessary.

Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and standards to facilitate understanding and compliance across teams.

Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging data technologies and tools, assessing their applicability to enhance the data infrastructure.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions to ensure data availability and integrity.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or a related field

Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases)

Familiarity with ETL tools: Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud (IICS), SSIS, Python and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse)

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
