Responsibilities
Design and implement robust data integration solutions for diverse customer datasets
Create and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to process healthcare data from multiple sources
Develop standardization frameworks to handle varying data formats and schemas
Collaborate with customers to understand their data structures and integration requirements
Implement data quality checks and validation processes specific to each integration
Support actuarial colleagues by ensuring integrated data meets modeling requirements
Design and maintain the core infrastructure supporting our data integration platform
Build reusable components to accelerate future customer integrations
Implement monitoring and alerting systems for data pipelines
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for improved performance
Design and implement models with complex domain and business logic for Accorded's Acumen product

Required
3+ years of data engineering experience
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Extensive experience in managing data transformation pipelines
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Preferred
Experience with dbt (data build tool) is highly preferred
Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery and similar tools
Knowledge of healthcare data and related regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
While healthcare experience is not required, a willingness and enthusiasm to learn about the healthcare domain is essential
