Responsibilities
Participating in multi-disciplinary projects for providing business solutions
Designing and building data pipelines
Ensuring data quality
Facilitating data accessibility for stakeholders
Contributing to the adoption of new technologies and best practices for data pipelines
Interface with the IT Department to bring new data pipelines into the broader data architecture

Required
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
Five (5) to Ten (10) years of relevant experience in Data Engineering
Proficiency in SQL, Python and other data engineering tools
Experience with big data architectures (e.g. Spark, Azure, Snowflake)
Demonstrated success communicating and collaborating cross functionally
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Strong problem solving skills
Preferred
Exposure to the energy industry
Previous Oil and Gas operator experience
Familiarity with additional programming languages (Hadoop, Julia, R, C++, etc.)
Exposure to Petroleum Engineering, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts
