Responsibilities

Develops strategic data architecture for enterprise data warehouses used for analytics and healthcare use cases
Develops database and data solutions by designing data architectures, including business architecture definition, data storage, data analytics, data transformation, and data access
Provides delivery leadership in the design, deployment and data conversion of complex data solutions, including data validation, UAT and Data Quality practices
Accountable for validation of the data quality and integration of all data architecture components, and capture of necessary data architecture metrics for benchmarking and trending to help quality of processes and related artifacts.
Examines detailed end user specifications which includes architecting, designing and developing solutions to accommodate business requirements.
Accountable for creation and communication of data architecture, data integration, profiling standards and best practices
Assists developers and analysts in the design and profiling, provides training and learning opportunities.
Establishes and participates in data management processes including data lineage, data profiling, data quality management and governance.
Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.

Required

5+ years of professional experience working as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Database Administrator, or similar positions
Require experience with Caboodle, Clarity, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and DBT
Experience working with data integration tools, such as Azure Data Factory, and a desire to stay current as the data engineering field advances
Hands-on experience developing on the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform
A deep conceptual knowledge and demonstrated practical understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices
In-depth understanding of data warehouse design with advanced knowledge in querying languages such as SQL
Experience working with unstructured and semi structured data (JSON, free-text entries, etc.)
Experience migrating from prem to the cloud
Demonstrated ability in project management (waterfall and/or agile), and other organizational management such as risk management, or change management
Must have CI/CD experience
Must have experience coding in Python
Must possess excellent documentation and communication skills
Performs code reviews and Design and develop test plans for unit testing
Capable of and comfortable with working remotely
Bachelor's Degree
5-10 Years of Experience

Preferred

2+ year’s Healthcare experience is preferred
Prior consulting experience
Experience with interface engines such as Epic Bridges, HL7 or FHIR
Some experience implementing, supporting, optimizing, and upgrading Epic
Formal process improvement certification – ex: Lean Six Sigma or ITIL
