Responsibilities
Determine data structure that integrates information from core operating systems—Accreditation Management System (AMS; legacy and new applications), Financial Management System (FMS), Learning Management System, and Website
Design and generate dashboards and ad hoc/routine reports through BI office applications and interfaces with AAAHC core systems that improve business processes and decisions for both AAAHC and our key clients. Transform AMS and other system data into reports and data streams that fulfill AAAHC contractual requirements/agreements for CMS, State agencies, and key client groups.
Collaborate with team members on translating business needs into data solutions including data collection/source identification, data selection criteria/filters, solution design, etc.
Define data values, manage obsolete data, and coordinate user access.
Organize data into appropriate file structures using defined standards.
Integrate multiple data structures into common interrelational database structures.
Validate that data structures are assembled and linked correctly.
Optimize data structures for efficient end-user querying and analysis.
Perform routine data analysis on large data sets.
Develop User instruction documentation for accessing data solutions.
Provide operational support in a variety of capacities including data integrity, quality assurance, monitoring, and reporting.
Support, monitor, and maintain data warehouse, monitor trends and performance.
Create and maintain documentation that includes design, requirements, report/dashboard standards, report generation processes, programming procedures and code for repeat usage, and BI user manuals for the organization

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent 4+ years’ experience in roles that demonstrate business analytics, project management, and coding proficiency
Superior research, analytical, planning, organizational skills, and detail-orientation
Ability to coordinate several tasks at one time and perform well under pressure; excellent time and project management
Ability to work independently, exercise mature professional judgment, and use discretion.
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience writing and troubleshooting T-SQL statements, and creating stored procedures, views, and SQL functions
Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse design techniques and a good understanding of Kimball data warehouse development methodologies
Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing data lakes, data marts, and star schemas, and a good understanding of related components and dependencies
Experience in logical and physical database design using relational database platforms including SQL Server and Oracle; demonstrated experience developing ETL/ELT packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to bring large, complex data sets from various sources into a data warehouse
Demonstrated proficiency using data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Cognos)
Customer service oriented
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE II Certification
Recent health care-focused experience
Knowledge of health care accreditation and the regulatory environment
