Responsibilities
Collaborate with the procurement team to facilitate the acquisition of necessary project supplies and services.
Oversee the management of purchase orders, ensuring adherence to company policies, accuracy, and timely processing.
Engage with suppliers to request quotes, negotiate terms, and monitor delivery schedules.
Keep detailed records of procurement activities, expenses, and supplier data.
Aid in the selection, evaluation, and management of vendor relationships.
Track inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain continuous project operations.
Conduct research to identify new suppliers and explore cost-saving opportunities.
Assist the procurement team with cost analysis and cost reduction strategies.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand and gather specific procurement requirements for projects.
Help resolve procurement-related issues, discrepancies, and disputes.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and relevant regulations.
Prepare reports and presentations related to procurement activities.
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving processes within the procurement department.

Required
High School diploma
1-2 years of Construction Industry experience
Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or Construction coordination is advantageous
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to manage purchase orders and budgets effectively
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interaction with vendors and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards
Problem-solving skills to address procurement-related issues efficiently
A proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a dynamic work environment
Willingness to learn and contribute to the growth of the procurement function
