Responsibilities

Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies to solve complex business problems.

Independently analyze, design, and develop high-performance data integration solutions.

Develop and maintain data pipelines for high-volume, low-latency systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Write testable, efficient code/scripts/ETLs to support diverse IT solutions.

Conduct comprehensive discovery and analysis to understand business needs and provide innovative solutions with minimal supervision.

Provide insights on solution feasibility (buy vs. build) to management.

Communicate development progress and production issues promptly with project teams, vendors, and managers.

Stay updated on technological trends and IT best practices, exploring their application to business needs.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field (or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).

Technical Experience (3+ years):

AWS Cloud technologies.

One data integration/ETL/ELT tool (e.g., Qlik Replicate/Compose, Streamsets, NiFi, Informatica, Talend, etc.).

One data warehouse or data lake platform (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, Hadoop).

Intermediate proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java.

Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts (e.g., star schema, type-1/type-2 data).

Intermediate SQL programming and data analysis skills.

Proven experience working with large, complex datasets.

Collaborative mindset with experience working with vendors and business partners.

Preferred

Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative business solutions.

Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to dynamic work environments.

Resilient to change and passionate about driving healthcare innovation through technology.

Experience with:

Unix scripting.

DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub).

Major relational databases (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake).

Cloud-based solution design, especially AWS stack.

Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
