Responsibilities
Enterprise data modeling experience
Snowflake
Dimensional data modeling (might need to provide examples)
Strong data modeling experience

Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.

Perform other duties relevant to project as assigned
Ability to understand business requirements and develop a structured data modeling plan.
Organized approach to designing the model with a focus on business goals and data relationships.
Clear communication and ability to present design rationale effectively.
Expertise in designing star and snowflake schemas.
Knowledge of fact and dimension tables, granularities, and handling Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
Strong understanding of normalization and denormalization for reporting.
Competency in designing logical and physical models with ER diagrams.
Ability to ensure referential integrity and document data models for clarity.
Experience in iterative model review and improvement.
Proficiency with Snowflake architecture, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of data types, scalability, and ETL processes in Snowflake.
Strong communication skills for explaining data models to stakeholders.
Ability to present the model with clear visual aids that make complex concepts understandable.
Understanding of how the data model ties into business needs and reporting.

Required
Enterprise data modeling experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/data science technical or related experience
7+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols)
Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts required
Strong data modeling experience
Needs knowledge and experience with Snowflake
