Responsibilities

Program Development and Maintenance: The Data Programmer is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining assigned programs. This includes monitoring the operation of these programs, diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding, and ensuring their reliability and effectiveness.

Software Analysis and Implementation: The role involves reviewing user requirements for new software, conducting analysis, design, implementation, installation, and providing training related to new software developed or acquired. The programmer plans systems based on consultations with management and staff, documents system plans, and establishes implementation schedules.

System Design and Documentation: The programmer designs and documents systems based on analysis results and consultations, develops databases, programs, and procedures necessary for system integration or implementation, and tests systems to ensure operational reliability. They also document systems for user departments and IT in accordance with institutional standards.
