Responsibilities

Oversee and manage 12-13 project backlogs, ensuring prioritization, alignment, and timely progression of data projects.

Take in project requests from various departments, assessing their impact on current backlogs and timelines.

Ensure that all teams are fully informed about backlog status, priorities, and the scope of current and incoming projects.

Handle a continuous flow of requests, balancing new demands with existing backlogged work and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Manage regular Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and ensure smooth team operations.

Maintain operational workflow and communication between technical and business teams to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Data Governance initiatives, including defining, maintaining, and effectively communicating metrics definitions to ensure consistency and clarity across organizational reporting and analytics.

Required

3-5 years of experience in project management, ideally with a focus on data or technical projects.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Proficiency with JIRA for managing backlogs and tracking project status.

Strong background in Agile methodologies, with experience running sprints and overseeing Agile workflows.

Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and keep teams on track.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain project backlogs and updates.

Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to understand project impacts and prioritize requests effectively.

Adaptability: Ability to manage a steady stream of requests and pivot as priorities change.

Collaborative Approach: Skilled in building rapport across departments to facilitate smooth project operations.

Preferred

Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
