Responsibilities
Captures, processes, manages, and analyzes large data sets to identify trends and insights using advanced techniques, including natural language processing, cluster analysis, image analysis, pattern recognition, predictive modeling, and visualization
Hands-on development and engineering of large-scale data science solutions, preferably in production environments
Develop predictive models and validate their performance
Ensures that data pipelines, ML pipelines, monitoring activities are established for continuous integration / continuous development (CI/CD)
Visualize and report findings to stakeholders using various visual formats and adapt presentations to audiences with different technical levels
Establish and maintain data collection and storage systems, programs, and procedures to build analytic systems, ensuring accurate and efficient data management
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and define project requirements
Stay current with industry trends and apply best practices in data science
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to deliver solutions

Required
Proficiency in programming languages / statistical software like R, Python, SAS, or SPSS
Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proficiency in ML algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
Experience with data analysis, feature selection, and dimensionality reduction
Experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, SQL)
Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib)
Experience with ML libraries and tools like Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy
Understanding of business processes and ability to align data projects with organizational goals
Ability to clearly communicate/present technical issues and status to customers
Ability to create project documentation (e.g., SOP) and user guidance
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint
Experience working in an agile environment, coordinating across multiple teams
Ability to execute in a remote work environment
US Citizen or US Work Authorization
Preferred
Experience with Federal government customers preferred
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Highly Desired)
Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Highly Desired)
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
7 years of technical experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management (IM), Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent; IT Solutions management experience preferred
