Responsibilities
Identify business trends and problems through complex big data analysis.
Interpret results from multiple sources using various techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to complex data mining.
Design, develop, and implement valuable business solutions for the organization.
Prepare big data, implement data models, and develop databases to support business solutions.
Work independently on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program.
Oversee direct reporting resources or be responsible for all staff assigned to a specific job.
Develop and build automated tools for feature selection, building classifiers, and optimizing automation using machine learning techniques.
Mine large data sets using state-of-the-art methods to produce intelligence products supporting client strategies and mission.
Enhance data collection procedures to automate repetitive processes, include relevant data, and verify data integrity.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly through presentations, written documents, and visual aids.
Create automated anomaly detection systems with internal tracking of performance.
Assist in general IT support as needed for the skill level of data scientists.
Enhance and support a Cloud resource hosting solution to provide fully hosted and accessible tools.

Required
Fifteen (15) year's relevant Data Analyst/Data mining experience including Cloud resource hosting solution
Works on high-visibility, or mission-critical aspects of a given program independently
Oversees direct reporting resources or all staff assigned to a specific job
Developing and Building Automated Tools
Data Mining using state-of-the-art methods
Provide third party data to enhance product results
Enhance data collection procedures
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present results
Create automated anomaly detection systems
Assist in general IT support as needed
Continue to enhance a Cloud resource hosting solution
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. Four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required
Pass client mandated clearance process including drug screening, criminal history check, and credit check
US Citizen or permanent residence status (Green Card)
Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members)
