Responsibilities
Be an active member in rolling out Netskope for DLP in new locations
Assist with data & document classifications and auto-labeling in Cyera
Serve as a Liaison between the DLP team and Business Operations
Work with Records & Information Management (RIM) to ensure data is classified in accordance with record retention and information management policies
Define DLP policies and rules to prevent unauthorized data access or leakage
Collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams in support of governance projects
Analyze events and logs for suspicious activity and opportunities to improve DLP policies
Participate in audit and monitoring activities tied to DLP, data classification, and RIM processes
Consult to the Incident Response team in case of investigations with data security solutions
Generate dashboards/reports to measure the effectiveness of RIM, data classification, and DLP strategies

Required
Experience deploying and managing DLP solutions (Cyera, Netskope highly preferred)
Knowledge of data classification frameworks (e.g., sensitivity labels like public, confidential, restricted)
Experience defining DLP policies and rules to prevent unauthorized data access or leakage
Ability to identify and classify structured vs. unstructured data
Incident response and investigation experience for DLP alerts
Knowledge of records lifecycle (creation, usage, storage, and disposition)
Understanding of physical and electronic records management processes
Familiarity with retention schedules and compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies
Preferred
Life Sciences industry experience (i.e., knowledge of FDA/21 CFR Part 11 guidelines)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for data (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Experience training end users preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (IT, Cybersecurity, etc.)
Certifications for Information Governance or Records Management are a plus (CRM, CIP, IGP, CISSP, GIAC, etc.)
Case studies or projects highlighting RIM/DLP implementation success
Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI/ML in data classification and information protection
Participation in industry forums or thought leadership on data security topics
