Responsibilities

Develops and coaches high-performing team by hiring diverse talent, prioritizing development, preparing people for more senior positions in other parts of the organization and delivers success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching and caring.
Builds and transforms new markets and identify and capitalize and lead transformational shifts in our customers by maintaining a customer and partner network and build credibility as a domain ‘thought leader’ representing Microsoft in events.
Builds an active business network; Drives increased customer value by coaching sellers through identifying and qualifying Azure AI/ML/Cognitive services.
Brings impactful market insights into customer engagements and helps close deals with customers and coaches and influences direct reports.
Promotes sharing across geographies and functions for Azure and Azure AI.
Builds and transforms new markets by leveraging technical and industry expertise, partners, and resources. Leads a team to explore business and emerging opportunities to optimize the portfolio and facilitate customer innovation.
Provides direction/guidance on the development of solutions across regions. Helps the team create vision for the customers and develop plans to drive value for customers by leveraging Azure AI services.

Required

7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
5+ years of experience working with databases (Open Source and/or Relational)
1+ year of experience in the AI app domain

Preferred

6+ years of solution or services sales experience OR consulting at a large, global consulting agency or system integrator
5+ years of direct people management experience
Certification in sales, sales management, complex sales training, sales methodologies, broad evangelism through events (presentation skills), and consultative selling
Knowledge of Azure Data & AI services portfolio or equivalent, and additional open-source technology (e.g., Postgres, SQL, Cosmos, NoSQL)
Certifications: Azure, GCP or AWS
