Responsibilities
Guides and supports business teams, BI teams, and technical teams on important projects in design, development, implementation and management of databases and data flows.
Translates business and technical requirements into workable action plans and designs.
Analyzes the most efficient and reliable methods for acquiring data from multiple data sources.
Understands how the data is stored, and determines how it can be added to build better models.
Develops data strategies to address business requirements, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability.
Generally has in-depth knowledge and expertise of database technologies, along with solid programming, design and system analysis skills.
Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards.
Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction.
Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
5 years of technical and business experience
Ability to write complex SQL queries
Experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
Strong communication skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
