Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Data Architect and Lead Data Scientist to translate business needs into data-driven solutions, dashboards, and reports.
Work closely with business stakeholders from across UC Health.
Contribute to quality improvement and population health management initiatives.
Conduct clinical operations analysis and health system and health plan financial analytics.
Help formulate strategy and policy across the UC Health system.

Required
Strong problem-solving abilities
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Minimum of 5 years working in programming in a healthcare setting
Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Transact SQL scripts and relational and multidimensional database designs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, templates and analytical views
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to lead projects or portions of larger projects
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to customize Business Intelligence tools to meet user needs
Preferred
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Full software lifecycle development experience using a variety of programming environments, including open source tools
Experience with data modeling tools
Data Warehouse development experience
Business Intelligence (BI) tools experience
