Responsibilities

Manage and maintain SQL Server and Oracle databases on-premise.

Ensure database availability, performance, and security.

Perform regular database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.

Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries and indexes.

Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell and T-SQL for automation and data manipulation.

Support the data team with data loading, extraction, and transformation processes.

Collaborate with software engineers to integrate databases with applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.

Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.

Required

Experience managing and maintaining SQL Server and Oracle databases on-premise.

Ability to ensure database availability, performance, and security.
