Responsibilities
Support the migration of the integrated resident information system (IRIS) to a new SaaS solution, including Cerner Millennium, Dentrix, Care Tracker, and RLDatix Risk Module.
Perform comprehensive planning, data assessment, cleansing, and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system.
Design and implement workflows that integrate with the existing system to ensure a seamless transition.
Ensure system design complies with organization standards.
Set up validation and auditing processes to maintain data integrity after migration.
Perform testing on the migration process by creating and executing Unit test scripts and managing test scenarios.
Analyze test results, debug issues, and ensure the reliability and functionality of the new system.
Provide regular updates on migration progress to stakeholders including managers, technical leads, developers, and business analysts.
Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences to explain the migration process and system functionality.
Facilitate the smooth transition to the new system, including training end-users and preparing system documentation.
Recommend strategies for optimizing system performance based on feedback and performance metrics.

Required
7 years of experience in database management systems and data migration, with a focus on healthcare EHR systems, particularly Cerner Millennium.
7 years of experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting.
7 years of experience in business analysis, reviewing and analysing user requirements and operational procedures.
7 years of experience in documenting business process flows and standardizing process improvements.
7 years of experience resolving complex data-related issues using analytical and problem-solving skills.
7 years of experience in preparing specifications for data input/output processes.
7 years of experience with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal abilities to work in diverse teams and support collaboration.
In-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends and strategic applications within organizations.
Familiarity with architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information systems, and applications.
Preferred
2 years of experience with SaaS-based EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
2 years of experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates.
2 years of experience with regulatory compliance and data security related to healthcare data.
