Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards based on business requirements and user needs.

Collaborate with business analysts and department heads to gather reporting requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance of the reports.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from various databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).

Ensure that reports are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, report formatting, or performance.

Automate and schedule regular report generation for routine analysis and reporting tasks.

Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other similar platforms.

Conduct data analysis to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for process improvement.

Document reporting procedures and maintain clear, organized data reports.

Stay up to date with best practices in data management, reporting tools, and database technologies.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in database reporting, data analysis, or related roles.

Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting software.

Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) and data warehouse environments.

Ability to work with large datasets, and knowledge of data modeling and data integration.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot database or report-related issues.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
