Responsibilities
Build/support multi-dimensional and tabular data models using SSAS, Power BI, and other Microsoft technologies.
Utilize SQL to create and curate large data sets, create procedures, and custom views as appropriate to support analyst team.
Build ETL processes to import, normalize, and clean data across systems and resources.
Evaluate the effectiveness and capability of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Audit and review existing database orientations and propose/implement improvements.
Document technical and system specification for all engineering processes.
Ensure accuracy of data through testing and business QA processes.
Train Analyst on structure and use of datasets and advise on data solutions to company inquiries.
Maintain assistive documents including schema definitions/data dictionaries.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Knowledge and experience interacting with and managing relational database systems
Knowledge/experience of BI languages such as SQL, PostgreSQL, DAX, MDX, Python
3+ years’ experience working in datasets supporting healthcare organizations
Knowledge and experience using SSIS and SSAS tools
Regular interaction and direct presentation of reporting solutions
Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or equivalent education, training and experience in Data Analysis.
