Responsibilities
Support the National Director and Regional Program Managers in planning, executing, and evaluating leadership programs, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Own and manage a portfolio of trainings within NAL’s curriculum, such as Ready to Win, National Women’s Training, Rising to Run for women who have run and lost, or new programming as identified.
Lead pre-candidate coaching programs to support participants in preparing for public office.
Assist the National Director in driving the team to meet ambitious recruitment goals, and own a portion of the recruitment goals.
Collaborate with the team to maintain systems that track participant pipelines and program outcomes.
Provide logistical and organizational support for national and regional programs, including training sessions and events.
Support in the development of updates and reports to the Director for the CEO, Board of Directors, and others as directed
Project manage the Alumni Engagement Program with a particular focus on Regional Program Managers developing strong relationships with alumni with the goal of keeping people engaged as potential trainers or donors
Collaborate with the Senior Program Leadership Team to develop, refine, and iterate on an in-person and virtual event strategy with the goal of driving NAL/AF participant connections and building a community across a variety of indicators, and ultimately driving community participation, engagement, and retention in the alumni community
Support the Regional Program Managers in communicating news, resources and opportunities to training alum through social media, keeping staff informed through internal channels
Cultivate relationships with a portfolio of national partners relevant to leadership development and programmatic goals, in particular organizations focused on women and specific constituencies within the larger immigrant ecosystem.
Represent NAL at events and meetings to elevate the organization’s profile and build strategic alliances.
Support Regional Program Managers in identifying and fostering regional partnerships.
Assist the Leadership Director in fostering a culture of continuous learning through skills training and professional development of the program team.
Develop tools and processes to enhance team organization, accountability, and productivity.

Required
Strong commitment to serving immigrant communities and fostering an inclusive democracy, with cultural sensitivity to diverse communities, including undocumented and under-documented populations.
Experience planning, managing, and evaluating leadership development programs or similar initiatives.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with partners, alumni, and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong experience organizing events, from ideation through execution, with the ability to align events with strategic goals.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and works effectively across functions and remote teams.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate people to create change. Attention to detail and follow through on all elements of work.
Minimum 2 years of management experience, including ensuring progressional growth
Creative thinker and problem solver—always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks.
Strong experiential acumen—you know how to create and produce thoughtful, engaging events and partnerships that deliver against strategic objectives and are tailored for the intended audience.
Work with a 'no task too big, no task too small' attitude.
Preferred
At least 5 years of experience in politics, campaigns, or organizing
At least 2 years of management experience, including ensuring progressional growth
Comfort with data management tools, including EveryAction and Google Sheets, as well as Asana for project management.
Experience working with diverse communities and understanding the unique barriers faced by first- and second-generation Americans.
Familiarity with pre-candidate coaching, political leadership development, or alumni engagement strategies.
